Hi! My name is Taylor Carolan. I am a painter, a writer, a runner, a singer inspired by the beautiful central coast and the incredible people I meet here. I found myself interested in pursuing the arts when I began oil painting and felt a tug to surround myself with like-minded creatives; people who push the boundaries and think in untrodden ways. I take the quote by Peter Kostenbaum to heart: “Creativity is harnessing universality and making it flow through your eyes.” I am so excited to be involved with Cal Poly Arts  – I feel honored having the opportunity to work alongside so many brilliant creatives and catch glimpses into all the different interpretations of universality.
